An update to ras_if_dates to include the ability to include the current day’s articles with if_dates_before and if_dates_after.
I’m finding that there are some interesting limitations to the use of this particular approach to conditional content select. Primarily the difficulty resides in the fact that content is returned by TXP as though all articles are being displayed, conditional sorting happens with display only. Part of the problem with this is paginated navigation (older & newer tags) are generated regardless of display choices, leaving live navigation tags on empty pages – there is no integration so the two can’t be used very effectively together.
I’m thinking that caching inside TXP itself may create a lag for conditional content, but I don’t understand it clearly enough to know for sure yet.
